Not too long ago, dreams of seeing picture frames that could change images and display moving photos were just that, dreams sometimes only realized in our creative fiction. Well, here in the 21st Century, what once was futuristic fantasy is now part of our daily lives. The very first digital picture frames on the market, Ceiva frames continue to be among the most popular and most advanced models sold today. Considering holidays, parties, or special dates, like Valentine's Day, the next evolution of digital picture frames should give us many creative possibilities.
This last point will be made even firmer if these newer digital frames have full wifi capabilities. This will allow you to connect your digital picture frame directly to the internet to directly upload and download images and media, as well as wirelessly connect to laptops and smartphones. It would also be possible to have a wireless server from which different digital frames in one building can access either the same folders and files, or else designated files for each specific device. This would also make it possible to stream live video from local or remote devices.
As we are now more than a decade into the 21st Century, we have to become more accustomed to seeing what was once futuristic technology as a part of our present, daily reality.
