Open Casting Calls for Movies

To have a chance to have a starring role in a movie, you'll need to get discovered at casting calls for movies. Once you master of the art of auditioning for movies, you'll land these roles much easier.

When going to your audition for movies, be sure to give the perceived image that you know what you are doing and that you are confident. If you arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to your audition, you will already be ahead of the curve and the rest of the people auditioning. The casting director will know through your actions that you are serious about wanting this role.

Be as professional as you can and dress the part. Casting directors want to see how you can convey yourself for the role in the movie.

Take a look at the script if you have a copy of it and know it inside out. Prepare two short monologues and keep it on hand in case the casting directors ask for it. Read books and take classes to keep your acting skills fresh and always good. Here is a list of casting calls for movie extra jobs.
